Jammu, Jan 13: PDP MLAs were voicing with National Conference MLAs in attacking Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu for his failure to fulfill the earlier budget promises.
During Budget discussion in Legislative Assembly , former ministers and PDP MLAs, Altaf Bukhari and Javed Mustafa Mir supported NC MLA in voice against the promises not fulfilled , mentioned in Budget of last fiscal year.
Altaf Bukhari said Drabu should have focused on clearing the liabilities of the contractors.
On this Congress MLA G M Saroori went on to praise Altaf Bukhari’s work in his tenure as the Roads and Buildings Minister during Mufti Sayeed reign and said "Whatever Altaf saheb did was a commendable job.”
Another PDP MLA and former minister, Javid Mustafa Mir, said NC MLA Devendra Rana made a very good speech on the budget and he was right on the hollow promises point.
