
NEW DELHI, May 06: Nearly 12 million people in India suffer from severe "mental disorder" and 50 million from common disorders like depression and anxiety as in 2005, Health Minister J P Nadda said on Friday in Lok Sabha.
JP Nadda in Lok sabha said " Government commissioned a national mental health survey through NIMHANS, Bangalore , the survey was initiated on June 1, 2015 and about 27,000 interviews were completed at the field level as on April 5 this year.
