Srinagar, Aug 24: Justice Sanjay Dhar has set aside the trial court judgment whereby the In-charge Establishment-Habibullah Kumar in the office of Block Development Officer was convicted under Prevention of Corruption Act and dismissed the charge sheet against him filed by the prosecution.
The court acquitted Kumar of the charges made against him in the charge sheet.
The court said that despite infirmities in the case of the prosecution, the trial judge proceeded to record the judgment of conviction.
