Chandigarh, Aug 22: Jammu native Monica Chhibber Sharma has been appointed Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
She was administered oath as Additional Judge by the Acting Chief Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra.
Her warrants of appointment were issued on August 20th by President Droupadi Murmu.
Monica Chhibber Sharma, who was born and brought up in Jammu, did her schooling from Saint Mary's Presentation Convent High School, Gandhi Nagar and MHAC, Nagbani and her B.Com from Government Women College, Parade.
She also practised law in the Jammu & Kashmir High Court before shifting base to the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
