NEW DELHI , Aug 21: Three Chief Secretaries have been given extensions in last 2 months .
After Bengal CS Manoj Agarwal and Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi ,Chief Secretary of Rajasthan V Srinivas, (IAS RJ 1989) has been granted an extension in service for six months from September 1, 2026.
Sources told Cross Town News that that more extensions likely for Chief Secretaries as Census could be one of the reason for extension.
As per details with Cross Town News atleast three more Chief Secretaries ( all three AGMUT cadre ) are near to their Superannuation by end of this year.
