Even, in Jammu, one can see how Private Hospital/Nursing Homes/ Diagnostic Centres/Labs etc etc are mushrooming but lot are not in completions of norms as required but concerned officers are allowing them to work raised a pointer towards their integrity & working both for plating with the lives of innocent public
Even in lost of Private Hospitals/ Nursing there is no parking facilitys but NOCs are being issued by authoritys to run causing public harassment on the other side on traffic jams & live example can be seen from outside traffic jams near Ankur Matrika & others by covering public roads for their parking?
Today, Chief Medical Officer, Srinagar, has ordered an inquiry into the deaths of two patients at Moj Gobur (Medlyn) Hospital, Chanapora & has constituted a seven-member committee to examine the circumstances surrounding the deaths and ascertain whether any lapse, negligence or delay in treatment contributed to the outcomes.
According to the order, the committee will specifically determine whether standard treatment protocols and post-operative monitoring procedures were followed in the cases. It will also assess the adequacy and availability of ICU and emergency support facilities at the hospital at the relevant time, however which the main requirement while according permission to any Hospital/Nursing Home.
The panel has further been asked to ascertain whether there was any delay, negligence, omission or other lapse in the diagnosis, treatment or emergency management of either patient.
The CMO has directed the committee to submit its detailed report, along with its findings and recommendations, within five days of the issuance of the order.
