Jammu, August 8: The Economic Offences Wing, Crime Branch Jammu has filed a chargesheet in the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Sunderbani against Yash Paul S/o Kundan Lal R/o Village Bhajwal, Sunderbani for encroachment of State Land measuring 2 Kanal 11 Marla falling under Khasra Nos. 3913/3914 situated at Village Bhajwal, Sunderbani.
The case FIR No. 39/2022 was registered at Police Station Crime Branch (EOW) Jammu on a written complaint lodged by Acharya Rajesh Kumar Prashar alleging therein that Yash Paul in connivance with revenue/forest officials has encroached State/Forest Land.
During investigation, Mutation No. 4193 dated 05.09.2018 was found to have been attested in violation of Government orders and was subsequently declared null and void ab initio by the ADC, Sunderbani in December 2022, following quasi-judicial proceedings and the mutation was cancelled from revenue records. During investigation of the case demarcation of the land in question was got conducted by a team of revenue officials in presence of forest officials.
Demarcation report was submitted by the revenue officials and it was found that Yash Paul has encroached state land measuring 2 kanal 11 marla falling under khasra No. 3913/3914 situated at Village Bhajwal, Sunderbani. On the basis of the evidence collected, the allegations were substantiated and the investigation was concluded with the filing of the chargesheet before the Hon’ble Court of JMICi Sunderbani against Yash Paul for the offence along with the list of witnesses and seized documents for judicial determination.
