J&K Govt appoints Inquiry Officer to inquire matter of prolonged unauthorized absence of retired Govt Employee

Srinagar, Aug 07: J&K Govt accorded sanction to the appointment of Mr. Yasir Arafat, FA/CАO, Directorate of Audit & Inspections, J&K, as the Inquiry Officer to inquire into the matter of prolonged unauthorized absence of Mrs. Syed Farooqa Akhter, the then Accounts Assistant (now retired).

It further read that the Enquiry Officer will, interalia, examine whether there has been any connivance by any of the officers dealing with the case at the place of posting, or in cadre controlling office.

Mr. Abdul Bari Deva, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Accounts & Treasuries, Kashmir will be the presenting Officer in the case.

The Inquiry Officer shall complete the inquiry and submit his report within a period of 20 days from the date of issuance of this order, order further added
