Srinagar, Aug 06: MLA Waheed-ur-Rehman Para has been summoned to appear before the Legislative Assembly’s Committee on Privileges on Today in connection with an alleged breach of privilege arising from remarks made during a House proceeding to record Para’s evidence.
According to a notice issued by the JK Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Para has been directed to appear before the committee at 3 pm on August 6 at the Committee Meeting Hall of the Assembly Secretariat in Srinagar and tender his evidence in the matter.
The alleged breach of privilege was referred to the committee by the Speaker for examination, investigation and submission of a report.
