Lucknow, July 29: The Uttar Pradesh Government suspended Sanjay Kumar Pandey, Joint Commissioner of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA), over serious charges of financial irregularities and gross negligence.
The suspension was ordered by the Rural Development Department following directives from Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.
