GOOL , July 09: After SDM Gool constituted Committee headed by Naib Tehsildar and AEE as Member , AEE wrote to SDM and said nominating a higher-ranking Officer as a member of a committee chaired by a lower-ranking Officer is not ordinarily in accordance with established administrative norms and protocol.
As per details with Cross Town News, AEE wrote “ It is also an accepted principle of administrative functioning that the Chairperson of a committee should ordinarily hold a rank and status equal to or higher than that of its members in order to maintain administrative propriety and the institutional hierarchy. “
AEE further wrote “In the present case, the constitution of the committee does not appear to be consistent with these established principles. In view of the above, it is, therefore, requested that the constitution of the committee may be reconsidered and the order suitably modified by the undersigned to nominate an appropriate representative from this Sub-Division to serve as a member of the committee in place of the undersigned as appropriately done in case of GREF 110RCC. “
The letter copy with Cross Town News further reads “This would ensure adherence to the established distribution of duties and administrative protocol while also facilitating the efficient functioning of the Sub-Division.”
