Srinagar, June 21: Dr Farooq Abdullah Today once again emphasized the urgent need to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir & warned that if the process continues to be delayed, the party may be forced to seek legal intervention from the Supreme Court.
Abdullah said that it has been eight months since the government in Jammu and Kashmir was formed & I remain optimistic that with the return of statehood, we will also regain the administrative authority necessary for proper governance.
He added that, however, if delays persist without justification, we will have no choice but to knock on the doors of the Supreme Court. (KNS)
