High Court Refuses To Quash Corruption FIRs Against Executive Officer

Jammu, August 4: High Court has refused to quash three FIRs registered by Vigilance Organization Kashmir (now ACB) against Anis Ahmed Choudhary, Executive Officer Municipal Committee Ganderbal for allowing construction of illegal structures.

While dismissing the petitions, Justice Sanjay Dhar observed that there is sufficient material on record to prima facie opine that the offences under Section 5(2) of the J&K PC Act read with Section 120-B RPC have been made out against the petitioner in all the three impugned FIRs & the argument of the counsel for the petitioner that no offence is disclosed against the petitioner is, therefore, without any merit.
