JAMMU, Sep 22: Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet which met under CM Omar Abdullah approved Jammu and Kashmir Water Resources and Management Regulations Bill 2026, which is seeking to amend J&K Water Resources Regulation and Management Act 2010 to give proprietary rights of Khads to the people where there is no actual flow of water , this will bring relief to people holding Gair Mumkin Khad lands.
The Cabinet also approved promotion of 36 JKAS officers in the meeting.
Sources told Cross Town News spem more decisions were taken by the cabinet which will now forwaded to LG Manoj Sinha for approval.
