SRINAGAR, Nov 21: National Conference (NC) working president Omar Abdullah hit out at State Government for demanding postponing bi-election for Anantnag parliamentary seat citing security reason.
“Only five per cent population are trouble makers as per @MehboobaMufti & her colleagues so why defer the elections? Fix a date ASAP & let’s see,” Abdullah, who is the former Chief Minister of the state, wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Abdullah was responding to tweet that read, “Deferment of Lok Sabha by-poll in South Kashmir on J&K Govt’s req will be a remarkable admission of the PDP-BJP coalition’s failure in two yrs.”
