JAMMU, Sep 25: Actions in coming days to be taken against Vehicles parked unauthorisedly on Streets/Roads in Jammu , especially in 7 roads/Streets.
As per details with Cross Town News,in high level meeting, traffic management issues in J&K were discussed , wherein the issue of unauthorized on-street/road parking on the main streets/roads of Jammu by local residents was also discussed.
In the meeting , it has been directed that appropriate measures, including imposition of fines/fees in cases of unauthorized parking of private vehicles on roads/streets, may be taken to curb the same.
Now JMC Official has written to Traffic Official for taking appropriate action against unauthorized on-street /road parking of private vehicles against vehicles found parked unauthorisedly on public roads especially in areas opposite SDDM hospital, Trikuta Nagar (canal side), Apsara road, Gandhi Nagar, Residency road, DC office Circular road, Maharaja Hari Singh park road etc. and impose fine/fee against the violators in view of its bearing on traffic management and smooth movement of vehicular traffic in Jammu city.
