Srinagar, Sep 27:Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JK SSB) under Accelerated Recruitment Drive finalized the selection of candidates to 350 posts of Sub-inspector (Commercial Taxes) and 647 posts of Assistant Compiler (Finance Department) under PM Package for Kashmir Migrants and Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits advertised vide advertisement Notice No. 03 of 2020 dated 01.12.2020.
The Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction, J&K vide communication No. 280/PS/Secy/DMRRR dated 01.10.2020 referred 1997 posts relating to various departments under the PM Package for Kashmir Migrants and Non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits in accordance with Jammu & Kashmir Kashmiri Migrants (Special Drive) Recruitment Rules, 2009 notified vide SRO 412 of Revenue Department dated 30.12.2009 read with SRO 425 of Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction, J&K dated 10.10.2017.
Subsequently, the JK SSB vide advertisement Notice No. 03 of 2020 dated 01.12.2020, issued advertisement for 1997 Divisional/District cadre posts of 07 categories relating to various departments under PM Package for Kashmir Migrants and Non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits.
The J&K Services Selection Board conducted Computer Based Written Test (CBT) examination for 1997 posts advertised vide Advertisement Notification No.03 of 2020 dated: 01.12.2020 (PM Package for Kashmiri Migrants & Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits) in multi sessions/ slots from 29.03.2021 to 05.04.2021, wherein 34366 candidates participated.
The JKSSB shortlisted eligible candidates for Document Verification in multiple phases for filling up of all the requisitioned posts / vacancies.
However, keeping in view the requirement, to fill all requisitioned vacancies /posts, and after analyzing the available data of candidates called for document verification in multiple phases as mentioned hereinabove, and observed that there is overwhelming repetition of candidates called for document verification in respect of advertised posts which may eventually lead to figuring of same candidates in select lists for the advertised posts and leave significant number of posts unfilled/vacant; and,
Accordingly, the JKSSB sought preferences for different advertised posts from the candidates falling in consideration zone. Subsequently, the JKSSB notified provisional selection list vide SSB/Secy/Sel/20215643-52 dated 14.08.2021 for seeking representation if any from the candidates. After disposing off the representations and based on the available data, the JKSSB recommended candidates for appointment to the indenting department for the posts of Sub-Inspector & Assistant Compiler vide No.SSB/Secy/Sel/M/02/2021/6307-13 dated 23.09.2021 & No. SSB/Secy/Sel/ /M/02/2021/6314-20 dated 23.09.2021 respectively.
In addition, the selection / recommendation of the posts of Field Assistant, Field Supervisor (Mushroom), Assistant Storekeeper, Depot Assistant and Class 4 is under process as additional candidates have been called for document verifications and shall be forwarded to indenting departments in next 2-3 weeks for appointment.
