Petrol Pumps In Jammu Have Started Giving Petrol/Diesel After Strike Called Off
22 August, 2016, By Cross Town NewsJAMMU, Aug 22: Jammu and Kashmir oil tanker drivers, Conductors Union have agreed to restart petrol and diesel supply today to Jammu region only after the administration has agreed to give them compensation.
Sources told Cross Town News that Unions have not agreed to supply oil to Kashmir and Ladakh regions till government provides security on Jammu-Srinagar national highway particularly in south Kashmir.
Anan Sharma, the President of Tankers Owners Association, said that the oil tanker strike has been called off and petrol and diesel will be supplied to Jammu region only and not for Kashmir and Ladakh.
