Jammu, March 24: Ghulam Nabi Azad has welcomed release of former Chief Minister and National Conference leader, Omar Abdullah on Tuesday.
He said that "I urge the Government of India to immediately release Mehbooba Mufti and hundreds of other political detainees also, who are either in Jammu & Kashmir or in jails of other States of country, especially in view of coronavirus crisis.
Azad further added that it is high time that Government should realise its mistake and restore the Statehood of Jammu & Kashmir.
