SHOPIAN JANUARY 14: Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin today convened a meeting with the concerned officers and engineers to reviews snow clearance operations and stock position of essentials.
Among others the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Executive Engineers of R&B, PDD, Tehsildar Shopian, PMGYS, PHE, and other concerned officers.
The DC was informed that all main roads in the district have been cleared off snow, while as snow clearance in upper reaches, which experienced heavy snowfall, is apace. Regarding stock and supply position, he was informed that sufficient stock of rice, atta, k.oil & LPG is available in of FCI and FCS&CA godowns.
