SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 09: As per the directions passed by High Court of Jammu and Kashmir in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 2978/2019 titled Chairman LAWDA, Srinagar and others V/s Ghulam Rasool Mir and others on November 5, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmed Khan today chaired a meeting which was attended by VC LAWDA, VC SDA, Commissioner SMC, Additional Commissioner, Kashmir; ADC Srinagar and other concerned.
During the meeting, Div Com constituted a Committee which will be headed by Additional Commissioner Kashmir. The committee will look into the building permissions issued by SMC, SDA and LAWDA. It will also look into the violations, if any, of Building Permission Norms.
SMC, SDA and LAWDA authorities were directed to furnish list of permissions issued by them during the last two years.
