Srinagar, May 7: Anand Jain, Director Anti Corruption Bureau, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan & briefed Governor about functioning of the Bureau, work being done to investigate complaints of corruption and take them to their logical end.

Malik advised Jain to launch a vigorous campaign for the offenders to be brought to book. He strongly emphasised the crucial importance of eradicating corruption in an effective and meaningful manner as a pre- requisite for ensuring good Governance in the State.

Pertinent to mention here that every Govt whenever came in power & started talking to stop corruption but in factual increased corruption by way of transfer or purchases. Lot of scams were detected followed by FIR's were lodged but cases are still pending for disposals & till then the bosses will retire on superannuation.

It can be easily recalled purchase & other scams of Rural Development for which raids were made in the houses of Directors/ACD's etc but what is the outcome on today. However, one ex. Director had got stay on the said FIR & shall retire with that stay & other director had already retired on superannuation.

It cannot be rulled out record transfers in Governors rule in PWD & PHE followed by prematures & additional charge, it otherwise also dont speak of fair administration for which Governor speaks of.

However, CTN had dared to publicize so many stories of in direct corruption in Governors rule, Actions by Governor House will definitely impact Corruption in State.

It shall follow.....
