Ganga Inaugurates High-Tech Computer Lab In GHSS Ramgarh ; Appeals Parents To Admit Children In Government Schools


SAMBA, APRIL 16- Minister for Industries and Commerce Prakash Ganga today inaugurated a High-Tech Computer Lab at Government Higher Secondary School, Ramgarh .The school has been adopted by the Minister  for developing it as a  ‘Model School’.

The Minister was apprised that the computer lab worth Rs 10 Lacs having 18 computers has been established in the school by M/S Bharat Wire Mesh Pvt Ltd under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and   it is the only government school in the state having this modern facility wherein all academic and other works will be done paperless, attendance and other activities will be monitored online.  

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister congratulated the students and teachers for the first of its kind computer lab in the school and also appreciated the efforts of the corporate house for providing the facility in the school.

Ganga said that government is committed to provide better infrastructure in all government schools so that quality education is provided to the students especially of rural and border areas. He expressed his satisfaction for adopting the school as a ‘Model School’ and assured that requisite steps will be taken to make it one of the best schools in the state.

Spelling out the improved services in Government schools, Ganga impressed upon the parents to ensure enrollment of their children in these institutions. He also asked the teachers to put in extra efforts in delivering best to the students for their mental and physical growth in an innovative manner. He directed the General Manager DIC Samba to involve other corporate houses for developing infrastructure in the schools under the corporate social responsibility.

The Minister also inaugurated the Sports Room of the school having facilities for indoor games. He dedicated ceiling fans for the school sponsored by Industrial Association.

Principal of the school thanked the Minister for adopting the school as ‘Model School’ and providing better infrastructure and logistic facilities in the institution.

Among others, Tehsildar Ramgarh J K Sharma, Director M/S Bharat Wire Mesh Pvt Ltd Mohit Gupta, Principal J S Manhas, teachers and students were present on the occasion.
