JAMMU, Sep 25: Jammu & Kashmir government is likely to order transfer and posting of top rank Police officers soon.
Highly placed sources in Police Administration told Cross Town News the officers of the rank of ADGP, IGP and DIG are likely to be transferred soon.
Sources told Cross Town News that few DIGs, who are posted at important ranges have been promoted to IGPs , couple of monts ago and their new postings as IGPs are due, which will in turn lead to shifting of other IGPs.
Similarly with Promotions of ADGPs as DGP, the leftover ADGPs are likely to be shifted from one place to another , keeping the importance of vacant posts in mind.
Once the Promotee IGPs will get their postings, few DIG rank officers will be shifted to fill up vacanices of important postings.
