NEW DELHI, Dec 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that India requires not just high-speed trains but wants high-speed growth as well.
"India is a land of possibilities with excellent human resources and a technological base," PM Modi said while addressing the India-Japan business leaders forum with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Delhi.
The PM said he feels proud to hear that $11-12 billion fund has been created in Japan to promote "Make in India".
"First the first time, Japan will import Maruti Suzuki cars from India," he said.
Expressing confidence in India's strength, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said a "strong India is good for Japan, while a strong Japan is good for India".
"A strong India is good for Japan and a strong Japan is good for India," Abe said.(TNN)
