Jammu, Oct 21: The Director General, FCS&CA Jammu Rajesh Kumar Shavan, JKAS has granted promotions to 64 employees at various levels. The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) under his chairmanship comprising members, Special Secretary to Govt., Joint Director (Adm), Chief Accounts Officer, Deputy Director (F&R) and Deputy Director (Supplies).
The DPC cleared 64 number of cases for promotion from the post of Tehsil Supply Officer to Chief Inspector, Storekeeper to Tehsil Supply Officer/Inspector, Junior Assistants to Senior Assistants, Salesman to Storekeeper and MTS to Junior Assistants.
It is pertinent to mention here that the last DPC had met in the year 2023.
This time the promotion has been accorded to 09 Tehsil Supply Officer, 01 Storekeeper, 04 Senior Assistants, 15 Junior Assistants, 25 Salesman and 10 MTS.
As per the handout, the Director General, FCS&CA Jammu has asked the department to convene regular DPC’s so as to grant promotional opportunities to all the eligible officials on time to keep their morale high and entrust them with new responsibilities based on their seniority and service merit.
