SRINAGAR, Oct 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) under Chairperson Srikant Suse has notified 127 vacancies for Junior Engineer (Mechanical) in the Public Works (Roads and Buildings) Department, with the online application process scheduled to begin on November 16.
According to Advertisement Notification No. 10 of 2026, dated October 21, eligible candidates can submit their applications online until December 15, 2026.
The vacancies have been referred to the JKSSB by the Public Works (R&B) Department through Indent No. PWD-ADM/122/2021-05 \(86549\), dated March 11, 2026.
Applicants must be domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir and possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority by the last date for submission of applications.
The maximum age limit for candidates under the Open Merit category is 40 years as of January 1, 2026.
