HYDERABAD, Sep 22: The Anti-Corruption Bureau said it registered a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case against an additional medical superintendent at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences and found assets worth over Rs 6.13 crore during searches at his residence and places belonging to his relatives and associates.
During the searches, the ACB found documents relating to eight apartments and five open plots, besides bank balances of Rs 41 lakh, Rs 12 lakh in post office deposits, Rs 35 lakh invested in private financial institutions and Rs 29.55 lakh in mutual funds. Gold ornaments weighing about 517.8 grams, three four-wheelers, four two-wheelers and electronic gadgets were also found.
The total worth of the assets was Rs 6.13 crore.
