SRINAGAR, Sep 14: A police constable was arrested in Anantnag district on today for allegedly hitting and injuring a Station House Officer with his vehicle near the Bijbehara police station.
The incident took place late Sunday night when SHO Majid Ahmad Khan was on duty and the vehicle struck him near the police station.
The offending vehicle, an Alto bearing registration number JK16A-3739, was seized.
