JAMMU, Sep 12: Whether One or two AGMUT States/Union Territories to see new Director Generals of Police ( DGPs ).
As per details with Cross Town News, IPS officers from 1992 batch to 1997 batch are presently holding post of DGP ranks in major States/UTs falling under joint AGMUT cadre.
Sources told that Incumbent DGPs are likely to be considered for prestigious posts which have turned vacant and also few are well past tenure of 2 years.
Sources added that in coming days/weeks it will be clear that how things will move forward , as even if one Officer is moved from DGP post, it may lead to shifting of 2 or 3 Officers atleats to fill up gaps.
