CAT to take coercive actions including imposition of cost on "POWER DEPT Bosses", if fail in compliance

Jammu, Sep 04: In O.A./496/2024 (JAMMU) titled GHULAM MOHD TANTRAY Vs POWER after hearing CAT ordered as under:-

None had appeared on behalf of applicant. Reply has been filed on behalf of Accountant General which is taken on record.

Vide order dated 15.05.2026, respondents were directed to file the affidavit whether the applicant is entitled for the benefits under SRO 59, before it was withdrawn in 1996.

Learned counsel for the respondents requested for some time to file affidavit.

In the interest of the justice, last and final opportunity is granted to respondent nos. 1, 2 & 3 file affidavit failing which CAT t.
