JAMMU, Sep 03: In a significant development, the Board of Directors of Jammu Development Authority (JDA), under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, has cleared the proposal for the Revised Jammu Master Plan-2032 in its recent meeting.
The Board approved the draft Revised Jammu Master Plan-2032 in principle and resolved to forward it to the Housing & Urban Development Department (HUDD) for approval through the Council of Ministers under the J&K Development Act, 1970.
The Board also authorised the concerned authorities to incorporate necessary corrections, modifications and consequential changes in accordance with the approved principles, BRAP Action Plans and EODB provisions.
The approval marks an important milestone towards finalisation of the Revised Jammu Master Plan-2032.
