JAMMU, Aug 12:Ms. Manjit Kour, SSP, Principal, Sardar Prithinandan Singh Police Training School (SPS PTS) Kathua, has been conferred the Jammu and Kashmir Police Medal for Meritorious Service on Independence Day 2026.
The award has been sanctioned by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir vide Government Order No. 416-Home of 2026 dated August 14, 2026, in recognition of her meritorious service.
The honour acknowledges her exemplary commitment, leadership and contribution to strengthening training standards, discipline besides infrastructural and professional development at SPS PTS Kathua.
The award is seen as an inspiration for the fraternity to uphold high standards of professionalism and service.
