JAMMU, July 27: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is giving final Shape to Cabinet expansion, which he himself announced will happen after Jantar Mantar protests.
Sources told Cross Town News that National Conference senior Leaders are holding deliberations over Cabinet expansion and reshuffle.
Sources told Cross Town News that along with CM Omar Abdullah , senior Party functionatries including Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah , General Secretary and MLA Ali Mohd Sagar , Treasurer and MP Shammi Oberoi , Advisor to CM Nasir Sogami , Provincial Presidents Showkat Ahmad Mir and Rattan Lal Gupta have held meetings over names.
There are reports emerging that one senior Leader of the party wants reshuflle of Portfolios of Ministers first and expansion later but CM is insisting on Cabinet reshuffle and expansion together in one go.
Sources added that most of the Senior Leaders of the Party are camping in Srinagar at the moment including Shammi Oberoi.
