JAMMU, July 24:The Department of Youth Services & Sports, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has ordered the transfers and postings of five officers in the Department as part of its ongoing administrative restructuring aimed at strengthening the delivery of youth and sports programmes across the Union Territory.
According to the order issued by the Commissioner/Secretary, Department of Youth Services & Sports, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, the following postings have been made:
Jagdish Raj Sharma, Assistant Director, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO), Pulwama.
Virender Kumar, Assistant Director, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director, Jammu.
Abdul Majid has been posted as District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Bandipora upon his elevation.
Jia Lal has been promoted and posted as Assistant Director, Kashmir.
Jahan Ara has been promoted and posted as District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Ganderbal.
The transfers and promotions are intended to strengthen the Department’s field administration and enhance the effective implementation of youth development and sports initiatives across Jammu and Kashmir.
