JAMMU, July 24: Ministry of Home Affairs likely to order appointment/shifting of Chief Secretaries in AGMUT States/UTs soon.

Administrative Experts told Cross Town News that with appointment of two AGMUT Cadre IAS Officers Keshav Chandra and Chandra Bhushan Kumar  as Secretaries in Government of India , whereas Chandra Bhushan Kumar is the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar islands , the appointment of new Chief Secretary in Andaman is imminent.

Highly palced Sources told Cross Town News that some Officers sitting as Chief Secretaries in AGMUT states/UTs are near to their superannuation and some near to their tenure, which may lead to round of shifting/appointment , where some more senior Officers can be touched to balance the equation in different AGMUT States/UTs.
