RAJOURI, July 17: The police have arrested a 76-year-old man for allegedly sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl in Darhal area.
According to the complaint received by Darhal Police Station, the incident occurred when the minor girl was alone at home. The complainant, the child’s parents, alleged that the accused lured the child and committed the offense.
On receipt of the written complaint, Darhal Police registered an FIR No 43 and initiated investigation.
A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, along with other applicable sections of law.
