SRINAGAR, July 17: The Assistant Commissioner Development, Kupwara, has placed a Panchayat Secretary under suspension pending an inquiry into alleged discrepancies in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) and attached to the office of the Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Kupwara.
He has constituted a two-member inquiry committee under the chairmanship of the Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Kupwara.
The committee comprises the Block Development Officer, Headquarters Kupwara, and Abdul Rashid Kumar, Junior Assistant in the Office of the Assistant Commissioner Development, Kupwara.
