Jammu, May 21: J&K Govt ordered for Relieving Order of AAO's vide Govt ORDER No. 83-Acctts of 2026 Dated: 21.05.2026, details with CTN read as under:-
Whereas, vide Order No. 70-Acctts of 2026 dated 30.04.2026, various Assistant Accounts Officers were transferred and posted under the transfer policy with the directions to join at their new places of posting; and
Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of this Directorate that some of the transferred Assistant Accounts Officers are still continuing at their previous places posting despite issuance of the aforesaid transfer order, thereby causing inconvenience in the smooth functioning of official work in the concerned offices; and
Whereas, it has become imperative in the interest of administration to ensure implementation of the transfer order in letter and spirit;
Now, therefore, in the interest of administration and for ensuring smooth conduct of official business, it is hereby ordered that all such Assistant Accounts Officers transferred under Order No. 70-Acctts of 2026 dated 30.04.2026, who have not joined at their new places of posting till date, shall be deemed to have been relieved from their previous places of posting with immediate effect.
All the concerned DDO's/Controlling Officers/Treasury Officers/Heads of Offices shall ensure strict compliance to this order and report compliance to this Directorate forthwith. By Order.
