KATHUA, May 08: A comprehensive inspection of District Police Lines Kathua was conducted by Senior Superintendent of Police Kathua Ms Mohita Sharma to assess the overall functioning, discipline, cleanliness, maintenance of records, and operational preparedness of various branches functioning within the police lines.
SSP Kathua was accompanied by Addl SP Kathua, SP Operations Border & Kandi, DySP DAR and RI/Line Officer.
SSP Kathua conducted a detailed review of administrative functioning, infrastructure, barracks, stores, mess arrangements, vehicle management, arms and ammunition maintenance, and record upkeep.
Special emphasis was laid on maintaining proper discipline, cleanliness, and professional standards within the police establishment.
During the inspection, on-spot directions were issued to all Branch Incharges of DPL Kathua to ensure strict maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene in and around their respective offices and premises.
The Emergency Response Support System (ERSS-112) branch was also inspected thoroughly.
The SSP Kathua reviewed the functioning and response mechanism of the ERSS-112 unit and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials for further improvement in efficiency, prompt response, coordination, and public service delivery.
SSP also stressed upon all officers and officials to work with dedication, professionalism, and accountability while ensuring better public service and maintaining high standards of police administration.
She further directed all concerned officers/officials to implement the instructions in letter and spirit for smooth and efficient functioning of District Police Lines Kathua.
