Jammu, May 08: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary ordered for appointment of Inquiry Officer for conduct of an enquiry regarding misconduct on the part of Govt Official vide Government Order No. 16OPW (R&B) of 2026 Dated: 8.05.2026.
The Order copy with Cross Town News reads "In continuation of Government Order No. 23-PW(R&B) of 2026 dated 20.01.2026, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Sh. Arit Gupta, Superintending Engineer, PW(R&B) Department, Jammu South, as Inquiry Officer to conduct a comprehensive and timebound inquiry into the allegations levelled against Shri Pankaj Gupta (Junior Assistant),
Shri Kewal Krishan (Senior Assistant), and Shri Ashok Raina (Senior Assistant) of the Designs, Inspections & Control Department, J&K, Jammu.
The Inquiry Officer shall submit a detailed report, along with specific recommendations, within 10 days.
Further, Shri Kuldeep Kumar, Accounts Officer, Designs, Inspections & Control Department, J&K, Jammu, shall continue to act as the Presenting Officer in the said inquiry.
