Mumbai, Sept 28: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today appointed former Ranji Trophy cricketer Mithun Manhas as its new president.
He takes over from veteran cricketer Roger Binny, who recently resigned from the post.
The decision was formally announced after Manhas was unanimously elected.
Manhas, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir , will now be responsible for steering Indian cricket’s governing body.
