JAMMU, Sep 27: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Dr. Devansh Yadav, today conducted a review meeting of the street light repair wing of the Corporation.
During the meeting, three employees were suspended for negligence in duty and attached to the Kot Bhalwal dumping site.
Dr. Yadav took stock of the functioning of street lights across the city and expressed concern over the large number of non-functional lights at various locations. He directed officials of Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and the Executive Engineer (Electric), JMC, to take immediate steps to strengthen and streamline the street lighting system in Jammu city.
