GULMARG, May 28: Continuing effort to take governance to key tourist destinations, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held a meeting of Cabinet colleagues, Advisor and Administrative Secretaries/HoDs at Gulmarg.
CM reviewed readiness for Eid-ul-Azha, Mela Kheer Bhawani, Amarnath Yatra & Muharram.
Speaking to media after chairing a meeting, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah highlighted the government's focus on restoring normalcy, reviving tourism.
CM said "We want to send a clear message that Jammu & Kashmir is open for tourism. The silence that followed the attack affected the region, but our presence here is a step toward making things lively again and we are committed to normalising the situation."
