Jammu, March 30: It is a well known fact that public was facing a big harassment since some long years in clearing their BP cases & other related issues but despite proved illegalities committed by Town Planning Officer/ Section, no actions were taken on the defaulting offices despite communication of then VC JDA vide his No. JDA/CTP/000176/388 DTD. 1.10.2022 addressed to Pr Secretary, H&UDD?
Lot of issue were put on hold by Town Planning Organization bosses like UTEIC, Proposed Roads, adoption of same rules as were being used in Jammu Municipal Corporation in BP cases, framing of Zonal Plan, non processing of revised Master Plan immediately after 05 years of issuance of Master Plan, which was notified in March, 2017 & now March, 2024 is over but revised Master is not revised till day & none of the so called Proposed Road has been notified or taken up for constructions but Building Permissions have been put on hold by quoting "Proposed Road" raised a pointer towards working of JDA as a whole?
Otherwise Development Act of 1970 clearly reads to revise the Master Plan after every 05 years but incompetence of JDA can be observed from the said instructions that whether instructions of Act has been complied?
Example of withholding & rejecting one Building Permission case on a private land can be detected from rejection order of JDA vide No. No. CTP/JDA/BPC/1039-41 drd 02.02.2021 on different observations, which were not in Master Plan & thereafter rejected by then VC JDA vide his letter dtd 1.10.2022 by quoting "Proposed Road" nearby which big constructions exist on the same so called "Proposed Road" & also without Building Permissions from JDA raised another question on JDA Authority?
However, now Govt has appointed a new officer to head the post in Town Planning Organization of JDA & Public expecting , she will rectify the above said issues, which are in open contradiction of Master Plan & in step motherly treatment as per norms being used by STP Section of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
