UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY-28-: Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral today conducted a Block Diwas cum public outreach grievances redressal camp at CFC building, Ghordi .
The event was attended by Block Development Officer Ghordi, Sahil Verma, Principal Govt Higher Secondary School/ZEO Ghordhi, Pawan Sharma, former PRI members, officers from various departments and a large number of local residents.
During the camp, former PRI members and locals from different panchayats projected/raised their demands and grievances, including repairs and maintenance of PMGSY/PWD roads, installation of solar lights, school upgradation, pending land compensation under PMGSY roads, slow progress of JJM works, low hanging electric wires and requirement of poles, non-availability of fertilisers etc.
After patiently listening to the public issues and demands, the SDM issued on-the spot directions for timely redressal. He also encouraged ex PRI members and locals to avail the benifits of various schemes launched by central/UT Govt for the common masses.
