JAMMU, Oct 2: Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet has cleared a proposal for raising retirement age of Judicial Officers from 60 years to 62 years.
This has been approved with effect from March 2026.
Sources said this will also bring back into services the Judicial Officers, who have retired from March 2026 onwards.
Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah,approved the proposal , which has also been approved by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, as per Sources.
The Official Order is likely to issued soon.
