SRINAGAR, Oct 02: Jammu and Kashmir Police have booked a National Conference MLA following a complaint by a police personnel associated with the Security Wing of J&K Police and deployed as the MLA’s Personal Security Officer (PSO), reports said.
According to the written complaint submitted by the police personnel, Altaf Ahmad Wani alias Altaf Kaloo, the sitting NC MLA from the Pahalgam Assembly constituency of Anantnag district allegedly assaulted him while he was discharging his duties as part of the MLA’s security detail.
MLA Altaf Kaloo , held Press conference later and refuted the allegations .
Kaloo said that PSO grabbed me by my neck , when he came to know that I have complained about his absence to Authorities.
Kaloo sought enquiry into the incident.
