Kota, Feb 13: Reports said that a 18 year old Dalit medical aspirant was raped on the pretext of marriage by a man she was friend on Facebook.
The Girl, said that after that he began visiting her in Kota & promised to marry her but raped her in September last year in Kota and twice in Jaipur making her pregnent.
Thereafter refused to marry her and was even forcing her to abort. The girl sought help from a local female advocate & advice called Singh to Kota yesterday with pretext to abort. A case was lodged when man arrived in Kota. Singh has been booked under section 376 of IPC, SC/ST Act and a section of POCSO Act, as the victim was underage at the time of the incident, report said. The accused has been detained but has not been arrested as the investigation is going on.
