DODA, FEBRUARY 08: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Bhupinder Kumar convened a meeting to review preparedness for Sparsh Leprosy Campaign in the district.
Among others, Chief Medical Officer Dr Kulbhushan, ACD Sushil Kumar, PO ICDS, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Doda, DEPO, Members of District Committee of Leprosy attended the meeting.
During the meeting, DC emphasized for creating awareness among public regarding the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. He stressed upon the concerned to create proper awareness among public for self-reporting, timely diagnosis and complete MDT treatment of leprosy cases which is crucial for eradication of the disease.
He asked the concerned institutions like Health, Education, Social Welfare Department, NGOs and other organizations to work in tandem in making the Leprosy campaign success which shall continue for 6 more days in the district.
